Agreement to develop digital educational contents based on AI technology
Planned to contribute to the digital new deal industry vitalization by introducing educational infrastructure
On the 20th, an educational publishing company Jihaksa (CEO Kwon Jungu) and AI specialized company AgileSoDA (CEO Choi Daewoo) signed an agreement that develops contents for digital transformation of education infrastructure. It has been considered one of the major tasks that Korean government have focused on for its own New Deal project. The two companies agreed to provide optimal learning guides based on AI technology that understands individuals’ capacity and study method.
According to the agreement, AgileSoDA’s self-developed text recognition OCR solution, TwinReader, and the embedding technology-based recommendation function of TwinDoc, which provides Document recognition and classification solutions, will be applied to the individualized educational contents and learning method know-how of Jihaksa.
Jihaksa’s textbooks have relatively clear adjustment of the study level based on their long experience in education. Starting with elementary and secondary mathematics courses that provide a 1:1 customized curriculum, the scope of development is expanded through market and customer research and analysis. With this specific roadmap they attempt to expand the digital-based education infrastructure. It’s also confirmed that joint research and development projects for digital transition and activation of educational infrastructure will be Carried out.

Mr. Choi Daewoo said “Optimization is the one that AgileSoDA is mostly interested in. Reinforcement Learning-based Optimization and super-personalization technologies have been mainly used for product recommendation and marketing. However, applying it to education is even more important and required. We hope that this agreement will work as a great example of successful technology convergence between education and AI companies. We look forward to contributing to the expansion of the Korean Digital New Deal.”
